1) Maus I & II by Art Spiegelman
(My first graphic novel...I loved it! Done so well with such history behind it)
2) Gunslinger by Edward Dorn
(Poetry that references everything under the sun, from Shakespeare to Get Smart)
3) The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon
(Didn't finish it yet...but can't wait to find a copy so that I can! I thought it was hysterical)
4) The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne
(I am working on this now...I'm learning a lot and questioning a lot. I love that it makes me think so much)
3 Reasons I haven't uploaded anything for a while:
1) I've been extremely busy killing myself for this thing called college.
2) I haven't had the desire when I have had the least bit of time.
3) (This one of more of a feeling).
2 Movies I watched today:
1) The Passion of the Christ
(I haven't watched this since it was in theaters and I needed a reminder, though it was tough to watch again...I still can't believe
He did that for me)
2) Star Trek
(I loved it...a lot. They had the perfect cast, and beautiful colors and scenes, and it was action packed and funny...what more can
any American want in their movies? Oh, a love story. Which they presented as well)
1 awkward moment of the week:
1) Seeing my first boyfriend with his wife and daughter this past weekend. But no...not from a distance. He saw me as well and then we awkwardly avoided each other until they left the ceremony we both attended as quickly as possible.
I feel myself changing. And I like what I am feeling. And it's summer time. I love not studying.
Stay posi.
